The wellness club has been quietly rebranding itself for years – from gym, to studio, to recovery lounge. Now triplebond, which opened in Marylebone this week, has decided go straight for the thing everyone actually wants: somewhere to do all of it, with your friends.
Billed as London’s first social wellness members’ club, it sits inside The BoTree hotel on Marylebone Lane, two minutes from Bond Street station, and comes with Marylebone’s first rooftop pool. The pitch is that wellness has become a solo chore squeezed into a lunch break, and that Triplebond is the correction.
The Concept: Activation, Restoration, Connection
The club is organised around three ideas rather than three floors, which is a more interesting way to build a members’ club than “gym downstairs, spa upstairs”.
Louise Rumball, creator of the vision and concept at triplebond, explained the thinking: “Science has long told us that the benefits of human connection and belonging are as vital to our long-term health outcomes as sleep, movement and nutrition. Yet the places we go to take care of ourselves often ask us to come alone and to fit a session into a busy day.”

She added: “We set out to create a fully integrated social wellness experience, where belonging, human connection and vitality are the foundation, and state of the art wellness, recovery and performance treatments, services and protocols layer on top.”
Why we care: The recovery-tech category has spent five years selling us individual devices – the ring, the mask, the boots, the gun. This is the first London opening we have seen that treats the same technology as a social format rather than a personal admin task. Whether that works is a genuinely open question. Whether people want it is not.

Activation: The Bassment, Fire & Ice, And A Rooftop Technogym
The headline space is The Bassment – a beat-led hot studio built around rhythm, tempo and music, running everything from high-impact sweat sessions to barre, stretch-led recovery and breath-led formats. The room has infrared technology built into it for hot classes, intended to warm muscles faster, increase flexibility and raise calorie burn. Outside timetabled classes, members can use the space for free-flow movement.

Then the contrast therapy, which has been given the full spa-menu treatment. The Fire & Ice Circuit pairs infrared saunas fitted with photobiomodulation panels – the science of using specific light wavelengths to support cellular recovery and mitochondrial activation – with cold plunge. There are Monk Ice Baths paired with full standing red light panels, for anyone who wants their shock therapy properly lit.
Upstairs, a rooftop gym in partnership with Technogym, including Technogym Checkup for holistic assessment and member onboarding. Yes, the gym has a view.
Restoration: Where The Tech Gets Interesting
This is the part that will appeal to anyone who has ever fallen down a biohacking rabbit hole at 1am.

The Red Light Lounge houses a red light therapy bed aimed at circadian rhythm resynchronisation and reducing inflammation. It is also home to a Jet Lag Circuit, using AYO light glasses and in-ear circadian syncing devices to reset the body clock through light and auditory cues, with lymphatic compression therapy to tackle the swelling and circulatory slowdown that comes with long-haul travel.
The Social Lymphatic Lounge, designed with Hyperice, centres on professional-grade lymphatic compression in a deliberately social setting – plus a full salt wall, circadian-aware lighting, and optional IV therapies and red light masks. Compression boots, but make it a conversation.

The Decompress Lounge is the antidote room: zero-gravity massage chairs, weighted blankets, eye masks, a frequency-based soundscape and a vagus nerve stimulation device, all pointed at switching the parasympathetic nervous system on.
Completing the restoration offer: a private hyperbaric oxygen chamber, a full-body cryotherapy chamber with standing red light panel, an ice bath and red light recovery room, hydration stations with hydrogenated water and electrolyte pumps, a private contrast therapy circuit and a treatment room hosting rotating pop-ups.
Connection: The Rooftop, And A Café You Can Use Without Joining
Two floors at the top of the building hold Marylebone’s first rooftop pool, a pool terrace, bars and social spaces with a full events programme, all against skyline views.
At street level, ground – a café on Marylebone Lane running from morning coffee and post-workout fuel through to evening social hours, with a nutritionist-designed menu of cold-pressed juices, smoothies, salads, wraps and snacks. It is described as the social heartbeat of the club, and it is the bit non-members are most likely to encounter first.

Liliana Gutierrez, director of wellness at triplebond, said: “This is a completely new social wellness ecosystem, where activation, restoration and connection come together under one roof. Every element has been designed to be both deeply effective and inherently social, integrating cutting-edge, science-backed wellness experiences with vibrant social spaces.”
The Health Concierge: 500 Biomarkers
The most data-heavy part of the offer is a partnership with Stride on a triplebond Health Concierge. Members undergo a comprehensive diagnostic assessment analysing over 500 biomarkers across advanced blood testing, DNA profiling, gut microbiome markers and biological age.
Results come with actionable insights, and members can book a complimentary online session with the club’s Integrative Health Practitioner to review their data and build a personalised protocol.

A note of realism, because we like you: comprehensive biomarker panels are an emerging category, and interpretation matters enormously. Data is only as useful as the person helping you read it – which is presumably why the practitioner consultation is bundled in rather than sold separately.
In-Room Wellness For Hotel Guests
Across The BoTree, in-room minibars have been reimagined with restorative snacks and professional-grade recovery essentials, and there is a new in-room technology rental menu that will send compression boots and red light face masks up to your room on request.

Eva Mount, general manager at The BoTree, said: “triplebond is an incredible new addition to The BoTree. We are creating a destination that reflects how people want to live, travel, and connect today.”
The BoTree has 200 rooms including 32 suites, coastal Italian restaurant LAVO, events and nightlife space 77, and a Screening Room.
The Modems Take
The individual technologies here are not new – infrared, cryo, compression, red light and hyperbaric chambers have all been available in London for years, usually in windowless basements at eye-watering per-session rates. What is new is the framing: recovery as something you do with people rather than instead of seeing them.

Membership pricing has not been published. Given the postcode, the rooftop and the biomarker panel, we would suggest budgeting optimistically.
triplebond opened on 26 August 2026 at The BoTree, 30 Marylebone Lane, London W1U 2DR. Membership applications at triple-bond.co.uk.
