LISA teams up with Meta on AI glasses with pet charms

If anyone could persuade us to put AI glasses on our accessories wish list, LISA would be a strong contender. Announced at Meta Connect, Meta Glasses by LISA brings the star’s world into a collection of smart eyewear, complete with custom stars, pet-inspired case charms and digital photocards. Consider it a meeting of wearable technology and pop fandom, with plenty to interest the fashion girls, too.

The collaboration includes two styles, both starting at $399 USD and supporting prescription lenses. But the appeal goes beyond choosing a frame: Meta and LISA have thought about the case, the finishing touches and the digital extras that come with owning a pair. It is an approach that makes the glasses feel like part of a collection, with details to discover beyond the hardware itself.

First up is the Meta Adventurer LISA Edition, which pairs a Moonlit Sky frame with Blush lenses. The colour combination sounds ready-made for anyone who likes their everyday accessories with a softer finish. We are already mentally styling them with an oversized shirt, loose denim and the sort of airport outfit that requires very little effort but photographs beautifully.

Then there is the Meta Capri LISA Edition, an Eclipse cat-eye frame with grey lenses. This is the option calling to those of us who treat sunglasses as the finishing touch that makes an outfit. The cat-eye silhouette brings a familiar fashion shape into the smart-glasses conversation, making the decision as much about personal style as what is happening inside the frame.

The smaller details are where LISA’s influence becomes especially personal. A custom star decorates the case and the temple tips, creating a recurring signature across the collection. It is a subtle way of giving the glasses their own identity, with a little flourish you might only notice when taking them off or reaching for the case.

And then come the charms. Inspired by LISA’s pets, affectionately known as her L-family, the special-edition case accessories bring a playful element to something that is usually purely practical. For anyone who has spent time choosing the perfect charm for a handbag, the logic is immediately understandable. Why should your glasses case miss out on the fun?

There is a digital layer for fans, too. The glasses unlock unique digital photocards, extending the collaboration beyond the physical pieces. It is a clever connection between a wearable product and the pleasure of collecting: the frames are something you can style, while the photocards offer another way to engage with LISA’s world.

What makes this launch interesting is the attention paid to how people actually choose accessories. When something sits on your face, its shape, colour and details matter enormously. Prescription support also makes both styles relevant to people who need corrective lenses, although buyers will want to check their individual prescription options and final pricing.

The collaboration arrives as Meta expands its wider AI glasses offering, with the company saying it plans to offer more than 100 options across Ray-Ban, Oakley and Meta Glasses by the end of the year. LISA’s collection adds a distinctly personal proposition to that growing choice.

We will reserve judgement on everyday performance until we have tried them. As a design collaboration, though, there is plenty here to catch our attention: two different moods, thoughtful fan references and a glasses case that gets its own accessories. Our immediate dilemma? Blush lenses or a cat-eye. The pet charms have already won us over.
