Biohacking Beauty: Noble Panacea CEO Céline Talabaza On Chronobiology, Deep-Tech Skincare And Longevity

Céline Talabaza is on a mission to reframe the future of skincare. As CEO of Noble Panacea, she leads the only beauty brand born from a Nobel Prize-winning scientific discovery, taking the concept of beauty far beyond creams and serums into the realm of deep technology.

At the heart of the brand is the late Professor Sir Fraser Stoddart’s Organic Super Molecular Vessel technology, a patented encapsulation system that protects, programmes and delivers active ingredients with unmatched precision. Rather than relying on surface-level solutions, Noble Panacea designs formulations that work in harmony with the body’s natural rhythms, releasing ingredients in timed sequences that align with the skin’s circadian cycle. The result is skincare that doesn’t just target symptoms, but supports long-term cellular health and longevity.

This philosophy is brought to life in the brand’s latest launch, the Absolute Peptide8 Night Serum, a treatment that detoxifies, repairs and hydrates in three distinct overnight phases, effectively biohacking the skin’s natural repair window. For Céline, beauty is about respecting biology, embracing chronobiology, and harnessing science to help us live and age better. In this interview she shares the practices that ground her day, the wellness philosophies she lives by, and why she believes the future of beauty is deep-tech under the guise of skincare.

Biohacking Beauty With Céline Talabaza

Beauty Biohacking is about…

Cellular health, because this is where longevity starts. It is about decoding the biorhythm of our skin. We can enhance, optimise and hack our body’s natural phases of detoxification and repair carried out overnight. By understanding this timed sequence of the skin at night I’ve been able to create skincare that now offers smart timed-release-technology. This determines which ingredient is needed, at the dosage, at what time.

It all started when I met Professor Sir Fraser Stoddart; the 2016 Nobel Prize winning Chemist. He taught me as our skin is our best protection, it is very unlikely that regular creams would get the right active ingredients at the right place at the right time to deliver superior skin results. Therefore, biohacking by understanding the skin biorhythm, the interaction of molecules (he was a supramolecular expert), working with atomic precision is essential. At Noble Panacea, we create computerized programmed formulas that deliver the right actives, in the right sequence, at the right time to deliver superior skin health.

Noble Panacea is beauty-tech…

We are part of a Deep Tech organization which means it brings to market, for the very first time, a discovery coming from fundamental research. This is a pioneering technological breakthrough that allows the programmable controlled delivery of active ingredients. This technology takes 12 weeks end to end to build and repeatedly test in our laboratories in California. The technology built in our laboratory in California is bespoke for every batch and every formula combination. The technology commences by firstly growing the crystalline structures allowing the porous structure and vessels that encapsulate ingredients and their programmable controlled delivery of actives. This technology, that simply looks like a cream, is wearable tech. Calling Noble Panacea skincare alone is almost doing it a disservice.

For example, the Noble Panacea Chronobiology Sleep Mask uses the brand’s proprietary OSMV™ (Organic Super Molecular Vessel) technology for the smart, timed release of key actives to optimize the skin’s natural nightly biorhythm whilst you sleep. The mask delivers a synchronized programme of ingredients in three distinct phases; first detox phase, early in the night, Polyhydroxy Acid (PHA) and a trio of pre-, pro-, and post-biotics exfoliate and rebalance the skin’s microbiome. Then the second phase, the skin enters the repair phase, in the middle of the night, Retinol and a peptide pairing work to stimulate collagen and elastin production during the skin’s peak regenerative cycle. Finally, in the early hours of the morning the mask supports the skin’s ability to be nourished with ceramides and hyaluronic acid providing intense moisture and reinforcing the skin’s barrier as absorption is at its maximum.

This programmed delivery is deep-tech under the guise of skincare.

My favourite apps are…

Health

Fitness

Strava

Because of my work, as CEO of Noble Panacea, I interact with screens a lot so when it comes to my beauty wellness routine, I use an app to enhance my experience, allowing me to be fully present in the moment.

Therefore, the type of apps I use guide me when I want to look for a hike when I’m surrounded by nature, or it’s checking the number of steps I took today, it is the app of the wonderful hot yoga studio in the center of Madrid called Barquillo, and it’s Spotify to listen to the music that will be creating an uplifting moment in my day.

My mornings are very active…

I’m a mother of three children, I try to bring them to school every day and work out before getting to work. I am very intentional with my time and this is the way I choose to start the day, it builds my mental and physical strength, it balances me out. When it comes to nutrients, I would look for a healthy breakfast with protein and natural fat. My skincare routine is Noble Panacea from start to finish, once you try it there is no going back.

Let’s talk sleep…

I prioritize consistency in my nighttime routine, recognizing the importance of aligning with the body’s natural rhythms. Over the years, I’ve become fascinated by chronobiology — the study of our body’s internal clock — and how our skin’s needs change throughout the night.

I incorporate products designed to work in harmony with this natural cycle, understanding the importance of ensuring ingredients are programmed to release in the right sequence, at the right time. What is unique to Noble Panacea is our OSMV TM Technology that does just this. Our products complement the skin’s biorhythm. One product I cannot live without is our new Absolute Peptide8 Night Serum. We’ve designed a nightly serum that addresses the skin’s detoxification phase during the night specifically. This serum is groundbreaking in that it targets senescent cells, which accumulate over time and contribute to the aging process. As the skin enters its peak cellular turnover phase, the serum releases a complex of peptides to support this rejuvenation process. It also features a 4D hyaluronic acid boost to hydrate and plump the skin overnight, ensuring you wake up to firmer, more lifted skin — a result confirmed by our clinical trials. This combination of science and technology significantly enhances the skin’s natural regenerative process while you sleep, allowing it to work harder when needed most.

A lymphatic drainage massage…

You can really see and feel the change. It is not only the physical aspect but it’s also activating the lymphs and avoiding accumulation of toxins. This is excellent for longevity and long-term health overall.

Non-negotiable supplements…

Vitamin D, Magnesium and Zinc as well as Superlativa when needed.

Cold plunges and infrared saunas…

Both. I previously lived in Zürich where cold plunges in the lake were part of life’s routine. I also lived in Finland so sauna has always been part of my routine as it helps your metabolic system, increases your VO2max (key indicator of cardiovascular fitness) and helps you get rid of toxins, in other words it helps you live longer.

An overhyped beauty-tech trend is…

Anything that’s really not backed by scientific papers. Any product that is created without mastering Chemistry. Noble Panacea is the only skincare brand founded by a Nobel Laureate in Chemistry, it is also an organization that cross check all ingredients, in our own California Labs, to ensure the veracity of their claims. I work very closely with our Chief Technology Officer, Dr. Benjie Limketkai (MIT PhD), to ensure all our creations are unmatched once launched.

If I could invent a wellness product tomorrow…

It would probably be a device that can measure the quality of the ingredient that you have on your plate, the level of allergens in food. Something that would be smart enough to calculate what your need are today, compute it with the water quality, sleep and physical activity and air quality. Basically truly understand what your body needs. I am living in a country where people reaching over 100 years old is not unusual and the common parameter is that they all ate locally, they walked every day, they had low stress, they had great quality unpolluted water and vegetables. I do think awareness about the quality of air, quality of water and quality of what is on your plate contributes massively to longevity.

When it comes to skincare ingredients…

Many skincare companies access and purchase actives from the same large groups of ingredient suppliers. Companies will then carry out their own quality checks and ensure ethical sourcing of the ingredients. Selecting ingredients from the highest source of quality is crucial. After this point in the process though it is entirely about how you protect the potency once the active ingredient is housed in the finished good formula and how the brand can truly deliver the ingredient at the time, depth and quantity required and tolerated by the skin at safe levels. This is what sets Noble Panacea apart in a league of it’s own. Other delivery methods used in the skincare industry include liposomes, a delivery method from the 1980’s , these are notoriously unstable and cannot programme the sequence and volume of ingredient delivery. At Noble Panacea we not only ensure the high quality, veracity of the potency and purity of the active ingredient but we then meticulously craft the technology within which it is housed, protected and delivered into the skin. This advanced superior protection and delivery is made possible, by the patented structure created by our Nobel Prize Winning Chemist founder, the late Professor Sir Fraser Stoddart. This is our trademarked technology; the Organic Super Molecular Vessel

Blue light and tech overstimulation…

Not only we are exposed to blue light and clearly over stimulated, but it also removes us from interacting with humans and have that hormonal synergy when you’re speaking to someone in real life. I am all for less screens and more human interaction.

Something I wish the beauty industry would stop…

The quality and distinction of some products in the beauty industry do not always justify the high price point.

At Noble Panacea our products are not expensive, they are costly. We are the only beauty brand in the world founded by a Nobel Prize Winner. Noble Panacea is the first venture that is lucky enough to be allowed to commercialize this breakthrough encapsulation and delivery technology that we name the Organic Super Molecular Vessel (OSMV TM). Our technology, the OSMVTM , is not available anywhere else in the world. We work with scientists that are the only ones in the world to be able to manipulate the OSMV TM . To be trailblazers and bring deep-tech to the skincare market is a profound privilege.
