EXCLUSIVE: Leomie Anderson talks hosting eBay’s show during London Fashion Week

eBay is about to turn heads on the runway with the launch of its first-ever Pre-Loved Fashion Week, introducing the “Endless Runway”—a celebration of eBay’s treasure trove of fashion gems.

Partnering with the British Fashion Council (BFC), the event promises to spotlight sustainable fashion like never before.
“eBay has been a driving force in promoting more sustainable fashion,” explained Kirsty Keoghan, GM of Fashion at eBay. “With Pre-Loved Fashion Week, we’re showing up on fashion’s biggest stage and proving that authentic designer fashion doesn’t have to break the bank.”

eBay’s Endless Runway LFW show is available to stream now

At the heart of this groundbreaking event is none other than British supermodel, activist and style icon Leomie Anderson. Leomie is co-hosting the event, bringing her unique energy and passion for sustainable fashion to the stage.

The show is being curated by eBay UK’s Pre-Loved Style Director Amy Bannerman, and will feature exclusive, immediately shoppable pieces from some of the most iconic British designers to grace the last 40 years of London Fashion Week – think Vivienne Westwood, Christopher Kane, and Molly Goddard.

“eBay is the first brand to show up at fashion week with an entirely pre-owned offering on the main schedule, which feels like the perfect way to mark 40 years of London Fashion Week,” explained Leomie, “Shopping pre-loved has been key to shaping my style.”

In 2023, secondhand luxury sales globally hit nearly $50 billion (roughly £40 billion), thanks to younger shoppers embracing vintage and pre-loved pieces as accessible entry points into the luxury fashion world. On eBay, pre-loved and refurbished items already account for 40% of its total sales, with over 1,000 searches for “vintage” every minute. Pre-Loved Fashion Week is a natural evolution, making designer pieces affordable and eco-friendly.
