What do Olympic tennis champ Coco Gauff and NBA star Anthony Edwards have in common (besides elite athletic genes)? A pair of iced-out, one-of-one Bose headphones dripping in sapphires, diamonds and 18k gold, thanks to jewellery designer Nadine Ghosn.
Ghosn, known for turning everyday objects into high-fashion statements, partnered with Bose to take the QuietComfort Ultra headphones from travel essential to wearable art. Think: “noise-cancelling but make it couture.” The project is a tech-meets-talent fusion for the ages—designed to celebrate two of Team USA’s brightest stars as they gear up for the Paris Olympics.

“I like to make the ordinary extraordinary,” Ghosn told Hypebeast. “Bose headphones are part of my daily life, especially when I travel. Customising them was both an honour and a technical challenge—I can now add ‘engineer’ to my CV.”
Let’s talk specs. Coco’s pair is a technicolour dream: wrapped in a mix of rose and white gold, with 1,180 handset stones including 26 carats of rainbow sapphires and over a carat of diamonds. It’s inspired by her electric energy and free-spirited creativity. “I wanted it to feel like a child with a crayon set going wild,” Ghosn said. Bonus: when worn around the neck, the headphones form a necklace with Coco’s initials.

Anthony’s design? Sleek, sharp and bold—much like the Minnesota Timberwolves star himself. Taking cues from his adidas AE1 sneakers, his headphones are built from 100 grams of 18k white gold and over 400 stones, including 4.5 carats of blue sapphires and 1.5 carats of diamonds. There’s even a giant number 5—a nod to his jersey—sculpted in white gold and covered in gemstones. Subtle? Not even slightly. But seriously cool.
As Ghosn explains, the whole process involved more than 65 hours of meticulous craftsmanship per pair. No glue. Just drills, precision engineering and a ton of trial and error. “We had to study the headphones like surgeons,” she said.

But beyond the glitz, this collab has a bigger message: redefining what wearable tech can look like. These aren’t just high-performance headphones—they’re a tech-accessory hybrid that lives at the intersection of fashion, sport and innovation.
“I always say I don’t think outside the box—I think like there is none,” Ghosn adds. “If the brand, project and ethos align, I’m in.”
Forget Beats. The future of audio is bedazzled—and Bose is now officially part of the jewellery game.
