Apple has finally answered the prayers of anyone juggling multiple devices (and multiple AppleCare bills). Enter AppleCare One – a new subscription plan that lets you protect up to three Apple products under one monthly fee.
Instead of buying separate plans for your iPhone, MacBook, and iPad, you can now wrap them all into one $19.99-per-month package. Apple says that’s a saving of up to $11 per month compared to enrolling each device separately. Got more than three gadgets? You can add extras for $5.99 a month each. There’s no annual option – this one’s strictly a monthly commitment.

“All of the benefits that come with AppleCare+” are baked in, including unlimited repairs for accidental damage (think drops and coffee disasters), 24/7 priority support from Apple experts, and battery coverage. The plan also extends theft and loss protection beyond just the iPhone to include iPad and Apple Watch too. As Bob Borchers, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing, puts it: “Built on the trusted foundation of AppleCare+, AppleCare One extends that same reliability and makes it easier than ever to protect the products you love and depend on like iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch, combining simplicity and exceptional value.”
One of the biggest perks? You can now add products you already own – up to four years old – as long as they’re in good condition. That’s a big leap from the current 60-day post-purchase limit. Headphones remain on a one-year eligibility clock, though.

And if you trade in a covered device through Apple, your plan automatically swaps it for the new one without you needing to lift a finger. AppleCare One is tied to your Apple Account, so management is much smoother – no hunting down serial numbers every time you make a change.
The new plan launches in the U.S. on July 24 at 8 a.m. ET. You’ll be able to sign up online, in-store, or directly from the AppleCare & Warranty section in your device’s settings.

While the name sounds suspiciously close to Apple One (the bundle for Apple’s subscription services), the two are unrelated. This one is all about device coverage, not TV streaming or music playlists.
Bottom line: if your life is already a carefully balanced tower of Apple products, AppleCare One could be the easiest – and cheapest – way to keep them all safe without the paperwork overload.
