This Gadget Will Turn Your Smart Phone Into A Brick

Our iPhones are incredible – until they’re not. They keep us connected, entertained, and organised, but they also lure us into endless scrolling sessions we swore we wouldn’t start. The Brick is a small NFC-powered square that pairs with a free iOS app. With a quick tap, it temporarily blocks distracting apps and notifications, turning your phone into a stripped-back, distraction-free device. You just choose which apps to block, tap to activate, and watch them grey out on your screen with the message: “This is a distraction. Your phone is currently Bricked.”

It’s not just for kids, though parents will love how it can turn a hand-me-down iPhone into a safer starter phone.
