Jamie Harris, from The Sun, got a chance to test it out at CES 2025, the world’s biggest tech show in Las Vegas, where brands showcase the latest innovations that promise to change our lives. At first glance, the MICRO LED Beauty Mirror looks like an ordinary mirror, but once switched on, its built-in AI gets to work, scanning your face and delivering a Skin AI Report.
The process is simple: align your face within the on-screen guide, and within seconds, the AI assesses four key skin metrics—wrinkles, pores, redness (erythema), and melanin levels. A green tick means your skin is in good shape, while a red exclamation mark highlights areas for improvement.

Unfortunately for Harris, the mirror was brutally honest about his fine lines—something Harris was hoping to ignore for a little longer.
But here’s where things get really interesting: instead of just diagnosing your skin concerns, the mirror recommends a product tailored to your specific needs. And not just any product—one you can buy instantly with a tap.
In Harris’s case, the AI suggested Green Tea Seed Hyaluronic Cream by Innisfree, a Korean skincare brand. A quick price check showed it retails for around £29, which, surprisingly, is cheaper than his current go-to moisturiser, Clinique’s Super Energizer, priced at £49. If the AI is right, we might just be cutting our skincare budget without sacrificing results.
