Coperni is no stranger to breaking the fashion mould. After turning Disneyland Paris into its personal runway last season, the label has taken an even more unexpected turn for Paris Fashion Week FW25—hosting a full-scale LAN party as a backdrop for its latest collection. The Adidas Arena in Paris, built for last year’s Summer Olympics, became an e-sports haven, where 200 gamers—both amateurs and pros—set up shop, forming the digital borders of the catwalk.

The brand’s co-founders, Sébastien Meyer and Arnaud Vaillant, have been open about their love for gaming, frequently indulging in The Legend of Zelda, Valorant, and League of Legends. They even attended DreamHack Stockholm, one of the world’s largest BYOC (Bring Your Own Computer) LAN parties, where gamers compete non-stop for two days straight. “The party will be a LAN party which is a gathering of gamers.” explained Sébastien Meyer in recent Instagram post, “so there is a whole inspiration about gamers, especially Lara Croft, Tom Raider, Angelina Jolie. We are obsessed with all this idea of about leather studs finer. So we think Lila will be a perfect for this young character.”
“We love everything digital and connected with technology, but we also love the social aspect. We want to tell stories using fashion industry codes, but geared toward a broader audience,” Vaillant explained. “We decided to tackle the huge universe of gaming, which has become like a religion.”

The Collection: A ’90s Cyber Fantasy Meets Utility Techwear
This season’s collection builds on Coperni’s ‘90s-inspired pre-fall aesthetic but injects it with technical upgrades worthy of a futuristic heist film. Think multi-functional pockets, cyberpunk-inspired accessories, and references to cult-classic movies like Tomb Raider and Hackers. The entire show was an ode to digital culture—models strutted down the runway while gamers clicked away, highlighting how fashion and gaming are no longer separate worlds but overlapping subcultures.
